Scientific names: The scientific name of Mexican Red-Leg Hermit Crab is Coenobita species. Other common names: Mexican Red-Leg Hermit Crab is also known as Dwarf Red Tip Hermit Crab, Equal-handed Hermit Crab and Blue-spotted Hermit Crab.

Origin or natural range: Mexican Red-Leg Hermit Crab originates from the Western Atlantic Ocean in Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico.

Size: The Coenobita species may grow up to a small size of 1.5 inches.

Compatibility: Mexican Red-Leg Hermit Crab is semi-aggressive towards the other marine aquarium invertebrates.
